Azhagae! Thamizhae! 2025

Thamizhodu Inaivom: Azhagae! Thamizhae! 2025 was a family-centred programme designed to support the natural and confident use of Tamil beyond the classroom by equipping parents with practical strategies to encourage Tamil use at home and during daily routines. The programme brought together Primary 3 and Primary 4 students and their parents in a warm, engaging environment, where families participated actively in meaningful Tamil language–based activities. The sessions were facilitated by experienced Tamil Language teachers who are recipients of the 2024 Most Inspiring Tamil Teachers’ Award, whose expertise enriched participants’ learning experiences. TLLPC extends its sincere appreciation to the teachers, students, and parents whose enthusiastic support contributed to the programme’s success. Overall, the programme reaffirmed the vital role of family involvement in sustaining Tamil Language use and strengthened the partnership between home, school, and community to support the continued vitality of Tamil in everyday life.
