Literary Marvels of Kambar was a programme that aimed to promote and inculcate interest in Tamil epics (Ramayana of Kambar) through talks and dance performance. It was targeted for a mixed audience – Sec/JC/Pre-university and the public.

Tamil Chudar – Inaugural Community Awards organised by MediaCorp’s Tamil News & Current Affairs Division

- To recognise significant contributions of individuals, schools, organisations and groups towards sustaining the Tamil language.
- The Tamil Language Learning and Promotion Committee collaborated as the co-organizer of this initiative.
Tamil Chudar 2017 is MediaCorp Tamil News and Current Affairs Division’s inaugural community awards initiative.
It was aimed at recognising significant contributions of individuals, schools, organisations and groups towards sustaining the Tamil language and to further its development.
The Tamil Language Learning and Promotion Committee collaborated as the co-organizer of this initiative.
Ten awards were given across 5 categories - Education, Arts, Digital Technology, Youth Achiever and Lifetime Achievement.
