Tamizhodu Inaivom: Azhagey! Tamiley!

This signature event was mentioned in COS debate  by Senior Parliamentary Secretary Ms Low Yen Ling. TLLPC organised this event to encourage students and parents to explore learning Tamil Language in a fun and meaningful way. The programme was planned to promote the use of Tamil Language in their daily life. The event was organised for 35 students in Primary 4 and Primary 5 and their parents.  The participants were exposed to interesting language and culture based activities that provided a Tamil speaking environment.  It was conducted as a 2- day non-residential camp. The event had interesting activities such as Tamil Karaoke, Drama, Quizzes, Cooking and Treasure hunt. These activities gave opportunities for parents and their children to bond with each other and at the same time promote the use Tamil language in their daily lives. This event served as a useful platform to further strengthen the tripartite relationship between schools, home and the community.
